Dennis Thompson

Sonoma County native Dennis Thompson got into the construction business somewhat by chance. After high school, he got a job as a machinist for Hewlett-Packard but didn’t like the work. A friend suggested he take a vacation and give construction a try. After a few weeks, Dennis was hooked. He knew that working outdoors with his hands was what he wanted to do. Dennis quit his job as a machinist and started his new career.
After finishing his apprenticeship, Dennis decided to strike out on his own. With nearly a decade of experience already under his belt, he founded Thompson Construction, Inc. in 1985. Dennis has always understood the importance of gaining his clients’ trust and doing everything possible to meet their expectations.
